Dunkes Appoints Timo Kollmann as CEO, Signalling Bold New Era of Global Growth and Innovation

Dunkes, a leading manufacturer of hydraulic and servo press systems, is pleased to announce the appointment of Timo Kollmann as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective July 1, 2025.

Kollmann joins Dunkes following a distinguished tenure at Hugo Beck Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG, where he held progressively senior roles including International Sales Director, Marketing Director and most recently, Managing Director. Known for his global outlook and ability to scale high-tech industrial businesses, Kollmann steps into this role at a pivotal time for Dunkes.

“There’s a lot to be done, and that’s exactly what excites me,” said Kollmann. “This is an opportunity to grow something special with a strong team and a clear vision. Dunkes has the products and the people, and with Macrodyne, a partner to match that ambition.”

As Dunkes deepens its integration with Macrodyne Technologies, North America’s largest press manufacturer, this leadership appointment reinforces the companies’ shared commitment to innovation, expansion and complete system solutions. The two organizations are aligning resources, strategy and talent to better serve customers worldwide.

“Customers today don’t just want a machine. They want complete, intelligent production lines that are easy to use and fully supported,” said Kollmann. “That’s where Dunkes is already strong, and where we’re going to lead even further.”

Timo’s immediate priorities include strengthening delivery performance, expanding into new international markets, and advancing smart automation capabilities in key industries such as automotive, aerospace and defense.

Reflecting on what lies ahead, Kollmann added: “Dunkes and Macrodyne are forging a shared path forward. One that’s global, collaborative, and built for long-term success. Dunkes has a strong foundation, and with Macrodyne’s support and expertise, we’re ready to take the company to an entirely new level.”

Kevin Fernandes, President and CEO of Macrodyne Technologies, echoed that optimism.

“Timo is the right leader at the right time. There’s incredible potential in combining the strengths of Dunkes and Macrodyne. With Timo at the helm, the future of Dunkes is bright, international, and full of opportunity. We trust him completely, and we’re building something special together.”

Jeffrey Walsh, Director of Business Development at Macrodyne, added:

“Timo brings the perfect mix of experience, energy, and international vision. His leadership will accelerate Dunkes’ momentum and give customers exactly what they need: confidence in the future, faster delivery timelines, and a bold new level of innovation.”

With trusted leadership and strong partnerships, Dunkes is entering its next chapter with confidence and clarity.
